CONTACT PERSONS

Group contact persons

Every group has one or more contact persons. The contact person is the one who has initiated the group, whom we will contact in case a new participant would like to join. The contact person can follow the training “How do I initiate a self-help group” free of charge,  preferably with a second contact person. After completing the training the contact persons will determine how they want to set out the group. The contact person is the one “pulling the group cart” and is also monitoring the group process.

We do not use the term facilitators since the contact person also participates in the group. The principle of equality counts, even though the contact person has a different role and slightly more responsibility. The contact person works the group always based on the reciprocity principle.
